Pretest Driving Lesson in Clongriffin and the Driving Test

The driving test is a rite of passage for most people - learning to ride a bike and up there with your first day at school. The test has a bit of a reputation that is daunting but the pass rates are probably higher than you think. And, as with any assessment, with proper training and a Clongriffin ADI you've got an excellent chance of passing.

To pass the driving test you will need to

  • Maintain proper control over the vehicle at all times
  • Reveal comprehension and expectation
  • Take appropriate precautions when going off, halting, overtaking, altering direction and facing other traffic in Clongriffin
  • Make acceptable and safe improvement when meeting and crossing the path of other vehicles when driving

However you might need to complete the EDT in Clongriffin

What does EDT entail?

EDT is a training course of 12 one-hour lessons. These lessons are made to cover certain crucial driving skills and improve your practical driving abilities.

As you complete each lesson, your Clongriffin ADI will log your progress in a logbook that is specially issued.

You should also have a Sponsor, an experienced driver (many student drivers choose a family member) who will oversee your driving practice inbetween lessons in Clongriffin, and will also monitor your improvement in your EDT logbook.

After you conclude your EDT course, you may still want additional lessons in Clongriffin with an Driving instructor to enhance your driving skills. Also, you should practice with your Sponsor whenever possible to get confident in the driver's seat.

On the day of your driving test, you should bring your completed logbook on the test date that is appointed, since you may have to show it to the examiner.
