Precisely what does Essential Driving Training involve?
EDT is a course of 12 one-hour lessons. These lessons were created to cover certain crucial driving skills and enhance your practical driving skills.
As you complete each lesson, your Smithfield ADI will log how you're progressing in a logbook that is specially issued.
You also need to have a Sponsor, a seasoned driver (many student drivers choose a relative) who will supervise your driving practice inbetween driving lessons in Smithfield, and may also track your improvement in your logbook.
After you conclude your EDT course, you may need additional support lessons in Smithfield with an ADI to strengthen your driving abilities. Furthermore, you should practice with your Sponsor whenever possible to get comfortable in the driver's seat.
On the test date that is designated, you should take the finished logbook on the day of your driving test, because you may be required to show it to the examiner.
