What does Essential Driving Training involve?
EDT is a program of Twelve one-hour lessons. These lessons are designed to cover specific essential driving skills and enhance your practical driving abilities.
As you carry out each lesson, your Ballybrack ADI will log how you're progressing in a specially issued logbook.
You also need to have a Sponsor, a seasoned driver (many student drivers select a family member) who will oversee your driving practice outside of lessons in Ballybrack, and may also monitor your progress in your logbook.
After you conclude your EDT program, you may still want added lessons in Ballybrack with an Approved driving instructor to enhance your driving abilities.
On the appointed test date, you should bring your completed logbook on the day of your driving test, as you might be required to show it to the examiner.
