What does EDT involve?

EDT is a course of 12 one-hour lessons. These lessons are made to cover certain critical driving abilities and enhance your practical driving skills.

As you carry out each lesson, your Rathmines Driving Instructor will record how you're progressing in a specially issued logbook.

You should also have a Sponsor, a seasoned driver (many student drivers choose a relative) who will oversee your driving practice outside of driving lessons in Rathmines, and will even track your progress in your logbook.

Once you conclude your EDT course, you may still need added support lessons in Rathmines with an Driving instructor to strengthen your driving abilities.

On the appointed test date, you must bring your fulfilled essential driver training logbook on the day of your driving test, because you may be asked to show the examiner it.
