The pass rates are probably higher than you think although the test has a bit of a daunting reputation. And, like with any assessment, with proper training and a Terenure instructor you have an excellent likelihood of passing.

To pass the driving test you'll need to

  • Reveal anticipation and recognition
  • Take appropriate precautions when going off, halting, overtaking, shifting direction and facing other traffic in Terenure
  • Make reasonable and safe improvement when driving and when meeting and crossing the path of other vehicles

But first you could possibly need to complete the EDT in Terenure

What does Essential Driving Training involve?

EDT is a course of Twelve one-hour lessons. These lessons were created to cover certain critical driving skills and enhance your practical driving skills.

You also need to have a Sponsor, an experienced driver (many student drivers choose a family member) who will supervise your driving practice outside of driving lessons in Terenure, and will also track your improvement in your EDT logbook.

After you finish your EDT program, you may still want added support lessons in Terenure with an Driving instructor to strengthen your driving abilities. Additionally, it is best to practice with your Sponsor whenever possible to get confident in the driver's seat.

On the day of your driving test, it is best to bring your completed logbook on the test date that is designated, since you may be asked to show it to the examiner.
